[TCMUG] Carpool to March Meeting?

Hi Everyone,

I'd love to attend the meeting next week and join the group.  The only 
problem is that we're a one car household and my husband doesn't get 
home from work until 5:30.  So, I was wondering if I can catch a ride 
with someone.  I'm located in St. Paul near Selby and Snelling and can 
certainly take the bus to a convenient meeting place. 

I moved here from California last March and need to get out and meet 
some local open source GIS folks.  Also, I've been working with 
MapServer /PostGIS / TileCache / OpenLayers/ FeatureServer for a while 
now so it would be nice to connect with some of you cool people who have 
developed such great software!

PostGIS, TileCache and Google Maps API (we're only using Google so that 
we can take advantage of the Google Earth browser plugin):

The tile seeding process is running at the moment so some of the zoom 
levels will be quite slow.  But once the seeding is done, I think 
performance will be great.  By the way, we're using the Amazon EC2 
servers for the tile seeding process, reducing the time from weeks to 
just a few days!  We're caching tiles for the entire state of california 
from zoom levels 5-17 and 6 different layers and the total time looks 
like it will be just 3 days!
