[OSGeo-UK] FOSS4G UK 2018?

Hey Steven/List

Remind me again, has there been any discussion on do we think this is
likely to be a 1-day event, a 2-day event, or as yet undecided?

I'm willing to bet that a 2-day is A LOT more work than a 1-day event. I'm
sure Jo and Steven could comment on that?

I recall from one of the recent OSGeo AGMs that a more "light touch"
approach to events was preferred by the community. Obviously, a shorter
(1-day) event requires less commitment from volunteers and less time-out
for delegates.

Also, personally, the 1-day RastersRevealed conference in March was a good
format and worked well.

I guess I'm saying, that if it is a 1-day event, others / I might be more
willing to it take on :)

Thoughts?
