Generally OK.  
 
Not happy with results showing up below the fold.
 
I'd remove the entire introduction section and change the "banner" to read something like :  "Choose categories, or just click on Search to view all entries"
 
Is there any way to change the page so that the results show up above the search form?
 
Is it possible to have more than two results show up per page?
 
Arnulf, I would prefer to start from a level of trust with the providers, while making it clear that intentionally misleading information could result in de-listing.  If I were a consultant, your wording would make me think twice about listing at all, worried that one bad experience could destroy my reputation in the community.  
 
I'm also worried about OSGeo taking on too much liability; the listing should include a disclaimer about the information not being verified.

Gupteshwar has a preliminary version of the Service Provider Directory
available on the OSGeo test server now.  I would like to solicit some
feedback from this committee before we migrate it to the main server, and
start deployment.

I have partially updated the wiki page to reflect the current status, and
added a section at the bottom for feedback.  Please feel free to add feedback
there and/or here to the list.

My intention is that after a bit more fixing up, the application will get
moved to our primary drupal instance, and we will start soliciting service
providers to populate it before we announce it more widely.

I think you will to login into the drupal instance with your OSGeo userid
in order to submit a profile.  Gupteshwar - correct me on that if I'm wrong.
