I think blogs should have to choose/request to be added, not just  
added by us.  This prevents us from presuming someone would like to  
be associated with OSGeo.  It also helps all readers to know that a  
blogger cares about OSGeo (even if they don't always blog about it).   
In my opinion, 15 self-professed "Friends of OSGeo" blogs are more  
meaningful than 30 others.

I like the idea of having real people names and also a tiny personal  
photo.

Once we agree on the process and objectives (to show names, images or  
not), I suggest we empty the list, post the announcement to the  
discuss list and then start building it up.
