[ZOO-PSC] Next PSC Meeting on 20th October 2010

Hi Gerald,

I'm not sure I'm able to give a vote based on how familiar I'm with the
topic.
I just remembered that OpenLayers for example has some sponsorship page,
which might be worth to take a look:
http://openlayers.org/sponsorship/
Probably there are many other good examples and maybe those projects have
some good advice.

I don't think it's worth to spend many ours for bureaucratic procedure to
setup an association if sponsors prefer let's say Paypal (just an example),
or sponsors need the association to sponsor the project and won't be able to
use Paypal. Then it's better to have an association.

I must admit, that I didn't think about this sponsorship very much yet, but
what about offering sponsorship for certain implementations, so the sponsor
can then directly pay to the developer or company to implement a certain
feature?

Daniel
