[California] Annual Meeting in November

I think taking time to plan a good meeting is a good idea. Maybe before we
get too caught up in logistical details we should figure out what we want
this meeting to accomplish. Normally we have talks and then some kind of
group learning - either an unconference or code/cartography sprint. Do we
like that format? Is there something else that people would like to see?
What would make you excited to attend? Who would you like to attract? I'm
hearing that we'd generally like more participation and we think that we'd
like to draw in people from the bay area.
