[GeoNode-users] Data Issue When assessing GeoNode IP address

Thanks for the quick reply.

Sir I checked and Geoserver is active and showing all data (Layers & documents) on the computer where GeoNode is installed.

I am in trouble when I access GeoNode to another computer via IP address of that computer where GeoNode is installed.

Sir Layers can not be viewed, downloaded and no thumbnail.

Sir some maps and documents (which are not compressed) can be downloaded, while not showing thumbnails but .rar document give Internal server error.

Sir I am not a developer and I want to know in step wise.

Hi, this looks like a misconfiguration, in particular I see two issues:

- the web server is not correctly configured to serve the thumbnails or the thumbnails are not generated correctly
- the permissions issue is probably due to the fact that geoserver cannot reach GeoNode to ask for authorization (and this could also be the reason of the issue 1)

Check the geoserver's logs to see if there are auth issues and in case fix the geoserver configuration http://docs.geonode.org/en/master/tutorials/install_and_admin/geonode_install/install_geoserver_application.html#setup-geoserver

Dear All

I am new one in using GeoNode.

I installed GeoNode 2.4 on Window and working well.

I am accessing on other systems (computer) via IP address,I have the following issues;

1-layers/documents not showing in the data content window as below;

2- when I want to download data i received "Error! permission to download the resource could not be requested to resource owner because of an error".
