I'm a little unclear about what the duties entail as well.  Is it purely a liaison to OSGeo, or ??  I can't seem to find a list of these project officers anywhere (easily)
My understanding is that if the Board wants to know something of the
project, then you have to respond.

  I believe that the Incubation Committee will need to amend/pass
  another motion including the project officer.  We should
