[GeoNode-devel] rabbitmq and GeoServer

Hello

Before submitting this as a new bug, I thought it would be useful to
check it here.
In our GeoNode instance we have ASYNC_SIGNALS set to False.
Even then, I see a lot of logged lines in GeoServer like this - which
are slowing down things - for example when a user want to remove a
layer:

2018-12-17 22:05:03,888 WARN [common.sender] - Error while trying to
initialize RabbitMQ Sender Connecton
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (Connection refused)
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method)

Which settings should I change in order to disable async communication
between Django and GeoServer?
