Thanks a lot for your help. I am really grateful.

I removed the comments from https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/blob/2.8.x/geonode/local_settings.py.geoserver.sample#L48 <https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/blob/2.8.x/geonode/local_settings.py.geoserver.sample#L48> and it is working. Thumbnails have links like: http://ec2-13-229-139-226.ap-southeast-1.compute.amazonaws.com:8080/geoserver/ows?layers=geonode:Veterans_Health_Administration_Medical_Facilities&version=1.1.1&request=GetMap&service=WMS&format=image/png8 <http://ec2-13-229-139-226.ap-southeast-1.compute.amazonaws.com:8080/geoserver/ows?layers=geonode:Veterans_Health_Administration_Medical_Facilities&version=1.1.1&request=GetMap&service=WMS&format=image/png8> saved.
