I'd like a 72dpi .tiff to be displayed as accurately in MapServer as it
is Photoshop. This .tiff is a product of ArcMap. I took a .shp and
exported it to a map (.tiff, 72dpi). Before I did this I set the
extents manually. I used these extents to fill in my MapServer extents.
A .wld was also a product of the ArcMap .tiff translation. So I carried
that over to my data directory along w/ the .tiff.
=20
So I've ended up w/ a .tiff and a .wld, but I must be missing something
since it really doesn't look as clean from w/i MapServer as I think a
72dpi image should. What can I adjust?
=20
The MapServer width and height are in proportion to the extents, and I'm
working exclusively under MapLab. I haven't hardcoded anything under
the min/max scale (mostly because I don't have a firm grasp on what that
is actually doing).
=20
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
