mapscript installation on debian

Comment the dl() line and reload test.php in your browser. In the PHP
Core block, where does PHP think it's "extension_dir" is located? Is
php_mapscript.so installed in this directory?

Also, what version of Debian have you installed? "Stable" (Woody) or
"Testing" (Sarge)?
