 Okay my tree must have been dirty, I reset hard and then ran again and
 says it wants to update everything.  So yah it always wants to update.

 though interestingly if I run again it says everything is up to date.  So
 not sure why it doesn't care to change the date again.  Maybe it only does
 if the first part of the date is different.
