Hi,

I just finished building a binary RPM for PostGIS 1.0.0 on Postgres 7.4.2 for SuSE 9.1 (aka, not messing with the default 9.1 setup).

Here's a diff against the default spec file for Postgres in SuSE:
  http://data.brs.gov.au/mapserv/antti/suse91-postgres-postgis.spec.diff

Other than that, I think the only thing I needed to tweak was the assumed locations
of proj and geos in the PostGIS Makefile. Only the posgresql-postgis rpm needs to
be installed.

This might be a useful starting point for others wanting to play nicely with SuSE
and YaST.

Cheers,

Antti
P.S., I used the 0.6 SRPM for Red Hat as a starting point, but ended up modifying the
SuSE Postgres spec file instead.
