I'd suggest we shelve this discussion and revisit in ~12 months. While
I'm excited by the potential of flatgeobuf, I think any widespread use
of it right now would be premature. I'd rather see it stabilise and
mature before we start recommending it for use by end users
(implicitly or otherwise).
