[QGIS-Developer] Fw: Select specific time slice of WMS-Time layer in PyQGIS

Hello,

I'm trying to load a specific timeslice from a WMS layer using QgsRasterLayer in PyQGIS.

I've found a previous thread in this mailing list which is about how to make the layer "time-aware":

So far so good, I have a time aware layer - but how do I select a specific date out of the published capabilities? I couldn't find any documentation or examples on that. I've tried playing around with the temporalProperties of the layer, but without any success.
