Okay, that's a really old graphics card. From wikipedia, it looks like the
highest version of OpenGL supported on those cards is 3.3 - too low. I
don't think it's worth trying to make it work on such old hardware...

For point cloud data, one doesn't strictly need OpenGL - only for the 3D
viewer, OpenGL is a must. Something that's on my wish list is that if we
fail to start OpenGL view, we should show a decent error message (with some
hints) rather than opening a broken window. Addition to documentation would
be also nice...
