[Qgis-user] Keep labels from changing in print layout?

 In a print layout I have noticed that the automatic placement of curved line labels changes when one zooms in and out. The "scale" setting for the map object does not change. Locking and unlocking the map object does not have any effect.Is there any way to prevent the label placement from changing? I am using 3.16.8 but I am pretty sure this behavior is consistent between recent versions.
